Welcome! I’m Aisha -

I know what it’s like to be so pre-occupied with what others think that you make yourself small. Striving to be ‘the best’ and tearing yourself down when you don’t meet that benchmark. Living up to everyone’s expectations, and not being sure of the true goals you have for yourself. Feeling stuck in dead relationships for fear of a life alone being worthless. She was me.

I have spent 15 years working in integrative psychology, combining science with healing practices. My journey began uniquely—achieving my first degree in psychology before even receiving my high school diploma. This early start opened doors to invaluable opportunities, allowing me to dive deep into the complexities of human behavior and mental health.

In my professional journey, I have encountered the profound depths of human experience through my work in crisis and behavioral intervention. Each role, from Higher Education Administrator at preeminent institutions, to intern at residential recovery settings, has contributed significantly to my understanding of trauma's impact. It has also allowed me to observe firsthand the remarkable capacity for resilience that exists within each of us.

My research path began during my undergraduate studies, fostering a curiosity that pushed me to examine the nuances of the body-mind connection. This continued inquiry has driven me to move beyond the confines of theory and practice. It compelled me to personally embody the principles I espouse in my professional life.

Over the past nine years as a private practitioner, I've woven the invaluable lessons gleaned from these diverse experiences into a holistic approach to healing. It has been incredibly humbling to accompany individuals on their journeys, bearing witness to their struggles, breakthroughs, and personal growth. Each story I've encountered has reinforced my belief in the power of connection, understanding, and compassion. This work is not merely a profession; it is a calling that has deepened my commitment to supporting others as they navigate their own paths toward healing.

My ultimate goal is to support individuals on their journeys back home to themselves—encouraging self-acceptance, resilience, and the knowledge that healing is possible. Even by your damn self. Through insights gained from my own experiences and professional endeavors, I strive to create an authentic and compassionate environment that fosters growth and reclamation. It’s time, comrades!
